    Discounts + Assistance

We offer an automatic 10% discount for each additional sibling taking classes.

We believe that dance is for everyone and strive to make lessons accessible to every family. We do offer tuition assistance on a case-by-case basis. Please email hello@thriveschoolofdance.com if you’re interested in assistance.

  • Each holiday season, we offer an optional additional performance opportunity to all students. This community-focused performance tour allows for a low-pressure commitment with ZERO (yes, you read that right) extra rehearsals outside of class. We perform at local holiday events around town as well as non-profits and assisted living facilities. The cost to participate is $40 per dancer and includes a costume rental.

  • There are two non-refundable fees associated with participating in our annual recital:

    • Recital fee

    • Costume fees

We’ve recently been notified of some upcoming cost increases related to our recital weekend—things like costumes and venue fees are on the rise. While we’re still working to understand the full picture, please know this: we are committed to keeping recital a joyful, meaningful, and accessible experience for every family. Our team is exploring options to maintain the value you’ve come to expect while minimizing the impact on your wallet. We plan to share updated pricing details and flexible payment options by the time classes begin in August so you’ll have plenty of time to plan. Thanks for trusting us—we’re excited to celebrate another incredible year of dance with you!

Thrive Policies

  • Tuition payments are due no later than the 15th of each month. We will assess a late fee of $35 after the 15th of the month, then a $50 late fee at the end of the month if a balance still exists. Families will get email reminders for any late tuition payments.

We encourage families to pay online and take advantage of the auto-pay feature to avoid late fees. Auto-pay will process on the 1st of each month for the entirety of our dance season (September through May) and will automatically stop after that season unless you re-enroll.

Thrive offers payment plans and up-front payment options for additional costs throughout the year like recital and costume fees, extra performance opportunities, etc. Families can select their desired payment plan online upon registering for classes.

Your monthly tuition price factors in all planned studio closures throughout the season, so you can expect the same tuition rate each month.

  • All dance families must sign the below liability waiver upon registering for classes:

I hereby waive and release Thrive School of Dance, its officers, agents, and employees, from and against any claims, suits, losses, or related causes of action for damages, including attorney’s fees and court costs, that may result from injury or death, accidental or otherwise, during, or arising from my child’s participation in a dance class, workshop, event or performance, including transportation to and from activities associated with the program, and any resulting illness and/or injury. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Thrive School of Dance from and against any and all such claims. I recognize that the recreational events or activities entered into by my child can be dangerous to the child and I accept those dangers. I understand that if my child is injured, this waiver will be used against me and anyone claiming damage in any legal action because of my child’s injury. I hereby acknowledge that I understand and am familiar with the nature of the activities in which my child will participate at this studio, and affirm that my child is in good health and that my child does not have a physical or emotional condition, past or present, of which I am aware, which would in any way affect my child’s ability to participate. I also understand that I should have health and accident insurance to cover injuries arising from participation. In case of emergency, I give my permission for emergency medical treatment of my child and for transportation to such treatment.

  • All dance families must sign the below liability waiver (or request a no-photo waiver) upon registering for classes:

From time to time, Thrive School of Dance staff posts photos and videos of our students on social media and on our website to promote community and showcase the skills our dancers have worked so hard on. We respect the privacy and safety of our students and families and it's our policy to not tag our dancers online. By signing this release, you grant Thrive School of Dance permission to use photos and videos of your student(s) for advertising and publicity purposes, inclusive of our social media accounts, website, print advertising, educational videos, or streaming in connection with our events.

If your preferences change, please reach out to Taylor and Katie at hello@thriveschoolofdance.com

  • Students who miss class (due to illness or unplanned studio closures) are allowed to make up that class at an equivalent level class at any point in the season. Please speak with studio staff to determine the best options for makeup classes.

We do not offer makeup classes for planned studio closures like winter break or spring break. Those closures are factored into the monthly tuition rate.

  • Since we’re a monthly tuition studio, the longest you’re ever truly committed is one month at a time. If you need to drop any classes, please notify us (by email or text) before the first of the month to avoid being charged an additional month of tuition. We’re unable to offer refunds or pro-rated tuition for any dropped classes in the middle of the month.
